Our Physician

Dr. Dom Marini is originally from Connecticut. He graduated from Fairfield University. He later received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed medical clerkships at Georgetown University, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital, which provided a foundation for the practice of medicine early in his medical career.

He served in the Army and completed an internal medicine residency at Brooke Army Medical Center. He later served as a commissioned medical officer at Fort Benning and West Point. As the director of the Intensive Care Unit, he developed and implemented medical policies and procedures for soldiers, veterans and their families.

After his honorable discharge from the Army, he continued his medical training and completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas. Next, because of his interest in myocardial infarction (heart attacks) and angioplasty, he completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Hartford Hospital. Lastly, in order to provide his patients with the benefits of the latest research in cardiovascular imaging, he successfully completed a cardiovascular imaging fellowship in Connecticut.

Dr. Marini moved to Florida and started the Palm Coast Cardiovascular Institute. He has been managing the Institute’s cardiovascular services.
About Our Cardiac Team

The medical support staff have an average of over 10 years of patient care experience. Our chief nurse leads a medical team of staff who are professional and devoted to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while focusing on our patient’s individual cardiovascular needs.

We have a dynamic communication center that triages clinical issues in a timely fashion. On a daily basis we receive positive feedback regarding communication with our patients. We triage patients based on the seriousness of their condition under the close supervision of our board certified cardiologist. We manage cardiac issues in a timely fashion with the patient’s best interest in mind. Our walk in clinic is managed with both nursing services and our staff cardiologist.

Directions To Our Office Palm Coast Cardiovascular Institute is conveniently located in the heart of Palm Coast. Just north of Palm Coast Parkway on Old Kings Road North. Our office has easy access from all areas of Palm Coast and Flagler County.

From the North: Take 95 South. Exit at the Palm Coast Parkway Exit. Bear left on the exit and travel east toward the beaches on Palm Coast Parkway. Take the second left at the light onto Old Kings Road North. You will pass thru one green light (travelling north) on Old Kings Road and then on the left you will see a road sign: 17, 19, 21 Professional Office Centre. When entering the parking lot go straight and you will see our offices nestled under palm trees, surrounded by rose bushes and hibiscus in the back on the left where the warm hearts are on the doors. There is plenty of parking.

From the South: Take 95 North. Exit at the Palm Coast Parkway Exit. Bear right off the exit and travel east toward the beaches on Palm Coast Parkway. Take the first left at the light onto Old Kings Road North. You will pass thru one green light on Old Kings Road and then on the left you will see a road sign: 17, 19, 21 Professional Office Centre. From the West: From US 1, take the Palm Coast Parkway travelling east toward the beaches. You will drive past Belle Terre Parkway and highway 95. After highway 95, at the first light take a left turn going north on to Old Kings Road North. You will pass thru one green light on Old Kings Road and then on the left you will see a road sign: 17, 19, 21 Professional Office Centre. When entering the parking lot go straight and you will see our offices nestled under palm trees, surrounded by rose bushes and hibiscus in the back on the left where the warm hearts are on the doors. There is plenty of parking.

From the East: From the beaches or the Hammock take the Hammock Dunes Bridge travelling west onto Palm Coast Parkway. After the Palm Harbor shopping center take a right at the light onto Old Kings Road North. You will pass thru one green light on Old Kings Road and then on the left you will see a road sign: 17, 19, 21 Professional Office Centre. When entering the parking lot go straight and you will see our offices nestled under palm trees, surrounded by rose bushes and hibiscus in the back on the left where the warm hearts are on the doors. There is plenty of parking.
